Caring for the Newborn

The newborn baby after feeding.. feeling comfortable while asleep. Baby Elaine came into the world on September 27. The excited father, Allan, who is away at work has to leave to Leni the child care. I am optimistic that I have shared the Pinoy Style of positive parenting skills to Leni that she will be able to raise her second baby with child discipline of a truly Pinoy.

Seems the years have gone incredible fast. With the second child coming, the child then is now almost a teenager. Photo of the excited sister with the baby stuff. Says she will help mommy to take care of her sibling.

Before the baby was born, I advice the mother, Leni, to buy infant clothes a few months earlier.
Babies quickly grow therefore you should not buy too many clothes. Bear in mind that the clothes must be comfortable and should not be a hazard for the baby (example: buttons that might be swallowed). Some of the basic items you should buy for the newborn: clothes (sleeveless vests, comfortable nightgowns), blankets, pairs of socks, hat, mittens.
